ID Badging System: What’s Under the Hood
SwipeK12’s identification badging software allows customized school templates and prints high-quality student/staff identification cards & temporary identification cards.
Photo files are compatible with most SIS, library, and lunch systems. SwipeK12 software tracks ID’s [cards] printed and fees owed.
School staff can use SwipeK12 in rapidly processing students tardy to school and class. Students may opt to scan using:
- ID cards
- Keypad
- SwipeK12’s cell phone app
Tiered Consequence Model
Schools can create a tiered consequence model to support initiatives to reduce school tardiness. Swipe will issue custom alerts based upon the number of tardiness infractions accrued by students. Accurate reports can be run from the Swipe website and downloaded to excel as needed.
Location Tracking
SwipeK12 is used in tracing students’ arrival and departing times from various locations, i.e., school office. Swipe can also print passes for students when they leave.
Running school reports and retrieving data is easy from Swipe’s website. Swipe tracks the amount of time a student has spent in a given office. This functionality is perfect for off-school site trips and after school programs too!
